Metrics Of Function
On this mission to design and build the most functional sports gear storage solutions in the world, we thought we better define function and establish how to measure it.
These are the four metrics we landed on:
Usability
Units: Seconds (to load + unload your gear)
The adventurous life is a busy life, that's why our racks are built for speed. Our Designed To Be Empty approach means our racks are effortless to use so you can store less and adventure more.
Comfort
Units: Years (your gear stays in action)
Your gear endures a lot both during and between uses, but that doesn't mean it can't last a long time! Our racks ensure your gear rests in comfort without unnecessary pile ups or awkward stresses so that it's ready for action time and time again.
Longevity
Units: Years (your rack remains useful)
Good things can last when they are designed well and built solid. That's why we use the highest quality materials, avoid moving parts, and over-engineer everything - there's really not much to go wrong!
Sustainability
Units: Kilograms (of CO2 + landfill waste)
It's evident now that humans have the capability to disrupt nature's balance but that also means we have the power to restore it. We take responsibility for the trace we leave behind in every action we do and every decision we make. We choose sustainable materials, keep production local to minimise carbon mileage, and build our racks to last.
